Well blog world, I am going on vacation. Will be gone for a couple of weeks, journeying through the nation's capital, and points north. I have never been to the north east part of the country, or
Washington, so this will be fun. I will try to blog on my trip, time and access depending. Two of my first stops will be St. Anselm's Abbey in DC, and if all works out, I will worship at the National Cathedral next Sunday.
If you are in the Washington DC, Baltimore, or Philadelphia area, comment or email me and we can try to connect. I like to meet people as I go around the country.

† Servant of the servants of God
When you go to the National Cathedral, I hope you get to go to a service in the crypt. That was where the main Sunday service was the last time I was in DC. It was really neat!!!!

Oh! If you can, do try to make it over to Mount St. Sepulchre Monastary and take their Grottoes tour, it is a fun hike up a hill from Catholic University Metro stop and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (a.k.a. Home of the Giant Angry Jesus). I think there's a shuttle, too, from the Basilica to the monastary. Both are fun, fun, fun religious tourist spots (even if they are, y'know, Roman Catholic and stuff).
