Requiem aeternam

Today, C's family and friends gathered, and together we honored memory, love, and dedication of a life of giving. 

It was a beautiful service, the words of the Prayer Book floated over the well kept lawns of the cemetary, and a servant of Christ was laid to rest, as well all shall be some day.  It truly has been a blessing to serve this family.  I was honored to participate.

† Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis, cum sanetis tuis in aeternum, quia plus es
†Grant the dead eternal rest, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine on them, with Thy saints for ever, because Thou are merciful.

No doubt he will have a special smile for those like you who helped him walk his last miles toward the Light.
