It is finished

Wednesday April 5 at 8:00 PM, my brother Mike left this life for a greater one. His wife was right with him, holding his hand on one side, I and his sister and other brother were on the other side.  This has been a long, hard fought battle and his dying process reflected that.  His hospice nurse was such an God sent Angel of mercy to Mike and our family. I can't imagine what on earth we would have done without her.  We are simply heartbroken, yet cling to God's promise of new life beyond.   Please pray for his wife, daughter and the rest of his family.

 

Into Your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend my brother Michael. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech You, a sheep of Your own fold, a lamb of Your own flock, a sinner of Your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of Your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen

 

Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord;
And let light perpetual shine upon him.

 

May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
